Margaret (Peggy) Furey (née Feeney), Anbally, Cummer, Tuam, Galway

On Sunday evening, 6th March, Peggy passed away peacefully in the warmth of her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Pre-deceased by her much loved husband Mattie, daughter Nora, sons-in-law Mike and Tom, sister Mary, and brothers Tony and Bernie.

Peggy will be forever loved and missed by her loving family; Mary, Mags, Helen, Mike, Teresa, Martin and Anne, her daughters-in-law Fiona and Sheila, sons-in-law Midie, Kevin, Declan and Eamon, her adored 19 grandchildren, her sisters Bridie (Loughrea), Nora and Ann (New York), brother Martin (New York), brother-in-law Paddy (Galway), extended family, and a large circle of neighbours and friends.

Reposing in St. Colman's Room, adjoining St. Colman's Church, Corofin, on Wednesday, 9th March, from 5:30pm. Removal at 7:30pm to the church. Funeral Mass for Peggy Furey on Thursday, 10th March, at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Lackagh Old Cemetery. Family flowers only, by request. Donations, if desired, to Claregalway and District Day Care Centre.
